EASA Flight Instructor
PPL / CPL / MEPL / IR(A)
Michał has extensive experience as a flight instructor within EASA-approved ATOs in Poland, delivering training at both basic and advanced levels. He has conducted instruction for PPL, NVFR, CPL, and MEPL, working with students from their very first flight through to advanced commercial pilot training.
His instructional experience includes both single- and multi-engine aircraft, with a primary focus on Diamond and Piper platforms. This broad exposure allows him to tailor training to different aircraft characteristics while maintaining consistent operational and safety standards.
Michał’s instructional style is deliberately non-standard and highly individualised. He places strong emphasis on the practical aspects of flying, effective time management, and the ability to operate safely under time pressure and stress. Training programmes are adapted to each student’s experience level, personality, and learning style, ensuring steady progress without unnecessary overload.
Safety is a core element of his teaching philosophy. Michał focuses on developing a deep understanding of real-world flight preparation and decision-making, helping students build confidence and enjoyment in flying rather than tension at the controls. His approach to error management varies depending on the student — some benefit from calm, structured feedback, while others perform best with dynamic input and immediate critique during flight.
Beyond direct instruction, Michał has actively contributed to the development of approved training programmes and standardisation procedures for flight training organisations. He has independently designed multiple training syllabi that were formally approved by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority, supporting both operational consistency and regulatory compliance.
His international ferry flying experience strongly influences his approach to advanced training. While familiar local operations present limited challenge to experienced students, Michał believes that professional pilots should be prepared from an early stage to operate in changing, unfamiliar, and dynamic operational environments.
As an instructor, his primary goal is to raise pilot competency levels and to equip pilots with the confidence and skills necessary to operate beyond their national borders, transforming flying from a confined activity into a truly international profession.
